My idea for a new horror movie

My idea for a new horror movie is based on similar horror movies that I have seen, and also have been very succesful. I have used them because they are ideas that i have liked but have developed them more. The movie that I have based it upon is "Halloween", which is also one of the movies that we have studied. The first version of Halloween was brought out in 1978, and was the first real horror movie that set the key conventions that are still used currently in horror movies. Through many sequels of this movie where produced, and then they was also remade into a newer version that was something for more the current generation to watch. I choose this movie though because it features the main key conventions that I like in a horror trailer, and also because the storyline is very interesting. Though my version of the movie has been slightly more developed into more current relseases of horror movies, that have been produced. This is done by all the bad events happening on Halloween night when people are suppose to be enjoying themselves, and it also contains younger characters that match my target audience.

The location  for my horror movie is set in a city, where it features five young girls at about the age of 19. The movie starts very happy where it shows what the girls lives are like before everything starts to go wrong, where they are living a very privledged lifestyle. The girls have known each other for years and are best friends they live their daily lifes of going shopping, clubbing, eating out, spending time with their boyfriends, and are percueing their careers by working, or  attending college and university. Though in their daily normal routines they start to hear about a old abandont warehouse that is used for parties, with the Halloween holidays they thought it would be a good idea to have a party there between the five of them. Though on the way to the warehouse they start to hear of strange events happening at the warehouse, and is known as a no go area but they decide to ingore that anyways. As they arrive at the warehouse strange events start to go missing with the car not working and no phone signal they have to find a way of surviving, as the girls start to go missing one by one they start to wonder if they will ever make it out alive. As time goes on they start to realise the warehouse is haunted, and that if they are ever going to make it out they need to make a run for it.
