Location Photos

We decided to use for our location of the woods, some where not too far away and that every one could reach. So we decided to use Fritton Woods this way it would only take about 20 minutes drive, and wouldn't be too costly on petrol. I think that this is a good choice that we made this is because the forest offers plenty of shots that could be used in our horror trailer, especially because they have the running through trees that we could used and the dragging under the bridge but also parts of the forest do give a horror sense of feeling that could be developed to be useful in our main product.

The location in a horror trailer is very important this is because it can add a sense of isolation, and keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats. It is also a key convention in horror trailers, and when we done our research it showed in our results that the location is very important and people liked some where more out of the way like woodland or rural.

Another location that we have choosen to use is my house in the horror trailer, this is because it is reach able for everyone as it's only about 10 minutes drive and also sets in our storyline that we want to use. This is because outside of the house it features a small bit of field and then some wood land which is how we got this shot of the house, and then by putting the downstairs outside and inside lighting on to make the house look busy and occupied. It also helped because the shots that we took we didn't take them when it was completly dark, this is because when it was completly dark we couldn't make out much of the house and so would of made it difficult to see.

For our forest shot we did want to use the ruins castle at Winterton, though we decided against this because it was about over half a hour drive. And instead we used fritton woods to use for our horror trailer as it was alot closer and just as good location, I think the Winterton castle had a appeal because it looks quiet scary and in horror movies the key convention is location and about being isolated and this location gives that feeling. The picture of the hot tub in the garden is the view from the back of my house, we got these shots from the study at the back of my house.
