Orginal photos of both products

The image on the top left is the image that I used in my movie poster, I used it because it is a image of the main protagonist and also I think the picture represented the movie well and the character. From this image we can tell the genre of the movie, and also partly what it is going to be about. I like this image because the facial expression on Peters face, and also the positioning of the blood on his face. Especially where the blood is dripping off Peters face, and the shining of the light that is reflecting off Peters face. The image on the top right is a image of George being dragged along the ground under a bridge, I choose this shot because it shows a bit of action. This is a good shot that we used because it shows the terror in Georges face as hes being dragged along, it lso makes us wonder if that character is going to survive. The image on the bottom left of Peter is another shot that I like because it shows the horror, deranged, and anger look that his character is. It contains a bit of blood running down his face but not too much, this picture shows the movie genre is horror and that Peter plays the evil character.
Also for the background on my magazine cover I used some of the pictures that we got of the forest, I used the the top right image and bottom left and right image on my magazine cover. Though these images have been edited for my marketing campaign, this is because is makes the images look more interesting and evil in some cases.

Sketch of movie poster and magazine cover

Before I started to create my movie poster and magazine, I needed to look at other magazine cover and posters this way I could get a idea in how to produce my advertising campaign. Once i had done this I then needed to create a rough idea of how I wanted to produce them, I done this by writing my ideas down on a piece of plain A4 white paper. The sketch on the left is of my movie poster, whereas the image on the right is of my movie magazine. This is a important stage in the planning this is because it saves time labour and money, as if I created the poster and cover straight away in photoshop and they wasn't right this would of been a waste in materials and time.
