Orginal Ideas

We had first been told to come up with our own ideas for a movie trailer, my idea was based around the Halloween movie but is set in the city and not a small town. We then got put into groups of around 4 people i was teamed up with George Wiley and Peter Hurst, at first we all dicussed our orginally ideas and what we liked about them that we could maybe incorporate into our production of our horror trailer.We first started by writing down our ideas on a piece of paper that we all agreed would like good in our trailer, one of these things was a typical horror movie trailer were it starts off all happy and turns to worst in a spilt second showing how fast situations can change and also being more dramatic. In the end we started all coming up ideas that we wanted to have something psychological in the trailer, and also we wanted for background noises maybe a possible heartbeat to make the trailer more jumpy as the heartbeat will get quicker the more danager the characters are in. So far in the trailer we have come up with people in their early twenties at a house party having a good time, there is people in the hot tub, garden and about the house. But when they leave they walk through the woods together and one of the members gets separated and comes back derranged and people cant understand why. By having a sense of mystery to the trailer, it then will entice people to go watch the movie in the cinemas or to buy on dvd as they will want to know the ending.
